Chat rules

Simple. Don't be rude to anyone, especially to the DJ. If you don't like the music, don't listen. We don't want to see you complain in the channel.

If there's an argument, then the channel operator is always right. Freedom of speech is a human right, but does not give you the right to type abuse in our channel.

DJ rules

The few rules that we have are here to maintain a basic quality level so that the station is listenable.

You are responsible for checking that the sound levels are good (according to shoutcast meters). Avoid even short moments of dead air, or too high sound levels. This causes listeners to leave.

It's not a requirement, but you should be in chat so you can get listener feedback on the sound quality.

If a DJ is unable to make the scheduled airtime, he should try to contact an ErrorFM staff member by e-mail or chat, so that coverage can be arranged. If you can arrange coverage yourself, that's even better. Do tell a staff member about it though.

Respect your fellow DJs. Don't overrun your airtime, or quit early. If you need to, please discuss this with the next DJ.

If you are more than 15 minutes late to your slot, you lose the right to do the rest of it. This is up to staff and the DJ who is filling to decide.

Password

The broadcast password is changed periodically (not often), and is then mailed to all DJs. You can also ask staff.
